Junior Business Analyst (FinTech)
Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Business Analyst to support the analysis, documentation, and delivery of digital payment and financial technology solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, prepare documentation, coordinate testing, and ensure successful project delivery. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in Business Analysis and Product Management within the FinTech industry.
Key Responsibilities
Gather business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
Document Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS).
Convert business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and workflow documentation.
Assist in identifying process improvements and automation opportunities.
Prepare and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, BRD, FRS, SRS, API documentation, release notes, user manuals, process flow diagrams, and meeting minutes.
Communicate with internal teams to gather requirements and provide project updates.
Document meeting discussions and follow up on action items.
Support coordination with clients, merchants, or integration partners when required.
Core Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Project Coordinator, QA Analyst, or Software Support Executive.
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with Postman for API testing.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence.
- Understanding of SQL fundamentals.
- Exposure to payment systems, banking, or FinTech is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Draw.io, Lucidchart, and Figma is an advantage.
