The Junior Finance Officer will support the Finance department in maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and ensuring timely reporting. This role is critical for maintaining financial integrity and supporting operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of accounts, including bank statements, payment gateways, and internal ledgers.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and summaries for management review.
- Monitor and verify transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification and payment follow-ups.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for auditing purposes.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data promptly.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Support the Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting.
- Collaborate with the development team for database support and testing.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to company’s best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates may apply)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reconciliation, and reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
